She references JK Rowling as a basis for her thread, but I think many of us will recognize the distorted perspective of Rowling in people we know, read, or listen to. It starts:

Happy to boost - I am thrilled you are one of the people I followed on the bird app who is active over here.

Also, you are speaking to one manifestation of something that's been heavy on my mind for years: how some people seem to want others of us to conveniently not exist, whether because we're trans, queer, POC, the wrong version of religious, etc etc etc.

It's perhaps the most twisted version of "out of sight, out of mind" I've known in my sixty-some years.
