Party like it’s ‘99

Every year, my wife and I make special holiday ornaments for our grandchildren to commemorate a milestone from the previous year, like graduation, learning to water-ski, etc. For the little ones, we usually make a clothespin doll done up as their Halloween costume, which we also make every year.

This year, our youngest was Maleficent (I know, Disney, but kids are kids). So I thought I'd share this one because I think it came out especially nice.

My first piece of panetone for the season. I don't have many happy memories of childhood, but this is one of them.

There are lots of pics on the internet supposedly of people in the past using "cell phones", claiming that it's proof of time travel. But who are these people supposed to be talking to? I can barely get a decent connection while in my family room in 2022.

Seems like some kind of conclusion could be drawn from this. But what could it be?
