I've seen #TwitterMigration people wandering around lost with profiles showing between 0 and 3 follows weeks after joining.
You need to follow people on Mastodon. Follow people with similar interests, follow a person who made a joke you like or posted a cool photo, follow a writer, an artist, a scientist. Follow people from differing cultures and backgrounds. Follow and follow and also, most importantly, follow.
Then cull later. Prune your home timeline like a bonsai.

OK, I give up. I'm gonna watch this Argentina sportsball thingy. There'd better be lots of home runs and baskets from the 3-point line or whatever.
I need an online game., playable by a team of four, more strategy than shoot-em-up, that will run on both Mac and PC. None of us are gamers beyond the arcade games of old. (But smart enough to figure stuff out.)
Any suggestions? TIA.

I'm not planning to change my Twitter username from "Evan Greer is on Mastodon," which apparently may or may not violate Musk's latest anti-speech policy of banning promotion of alternative social media sites so...
...getting banned on Twitter feels like it's a matter of when not if at this point.
Can folks give this a boost so others here can find me? Time to rebuild!

A lot depends on timing, but our forecast for Friday is for rain and a low of 29. Maybe it will snow! It would be the 4th time in my life, and it would just be a dusting, but that would be cool.
