Chemistry help! HALP!
I'm stuck on this. I've searched the Internet for some kind of explanation, watched various videos about titration, etc. and I get nowhere.
1. If you start with 20 mL of H2C2O4 and end up with a total volume of 23.24 mL, isn't the 3.24 mL the amount of titrant?
2. How would I know what the ratio of titrant to MNO4 is 1:1?
3. What does MNO4 have to do with it, anyway? I thought I was looking at oxalic acid. I have a confuse.

I am trying to do an online intro chemistry class via Carnegie Mellon and I am stuck. I can't figure out how to show scientific notation, and I can't proceed until I can! The two of us have spent an hour+ researching Mac help to no avail. Macbook Air, Ventura, Firefox. (We've tried every answer we can find searching "exponential notation" for any of those areas.)
Any clues? I'd sure appreciate it!

@Litzz11 Now that you mention it, I can't think of any. Maybe it's like ghost stories - a way of insulating us from our fears by putting them in a controllable context.

@Litzz11 There's a really good scifi series like that - I think it's the Silo books.

@Litzz11 If you grew up in the 60s/70s you weren't terribly sure there was going to *be* a future.

@nberlat No point in asking them to swear to anything; at least four of them lied under oath during their confirmation hearings and Alito has no values except Alito.

I'm pretty sick about David Crosby. He had the reputation of being kind of a dick, but the music he made with Stills and Nash (and sometimes Young) was very important to me.

Here's the thing about dealing with nazis: If you wait until it's too late, it will be too late. I know that sounds obvious, but folks still want to believe it's too soon.

The road to fascism is lined with people telling you to stop overreacting.

I doubt pictures can do it justice, but the MLK Jr. Memorial in DC made me crai. In fact, just remembering it is misting me up a little.

The thing about iTunes did occur to us.

I'm good with getting stuff on the phone for travel, I just wish either it wasn't so stupidly complicated or I wasn't so D*MB.

I bought a Stevie Wonder CD (I like to have the hard copy, don't judge) and just wanted to copy it to the laptop and then to my phone.
It took an hour to figure out how do do all this. Why, Apple? Stuff used to be so intuitive, and now I'm helpless in the face of the tech. I can see a scenario where it's because I'm, let's say, not getting any smarter as I age, but please, no.

Kari Lake is now attacking the judge who ruled against her.

Sanctions are coming. And this will only make things worse for her.

@MeidasTouch I’m glad you made the point about calling these people conservatives. I read some piece this morning re: McCarthy’s speakership woes that referred to “conservative” vs “moderate Rs in the House. They’re the furthest thing from conservative - they’re deep-end radicals and need to be identified as such.
