I have always considered myself a cynic. Sarcasm is a shield against the world.

Now I think that isn't cynicism at all. True cynicism is a system that is rewritten to support voter suppression. A system built to reward those who can cheat it most successfully. True cynicism can spend 44 billion on a website to prove a point.

My cynicism comes from still believing in the core principles of our democracy and our humanity. True cynics lost this belief long ago and profited.

I'll keep my karma.
