Going through proofreading again today.
Gonna be doing it bit by bit for a few weeks, I expect. It induces physical headaches from the eyestrain.
Also I don't like it.

@vicorva one thing that helps me A LOT is the Read Aloud feature in Word. Having the text read aloud by the computer is great for catching missing words, etc.
@dianes_lesshostileusername yeah I often read things aloud to snag things
in this instance though it's actually been professionally proofread already, I'm just going through and approving or denying the changes.
