I just saw a video of a cat playing with a balloon, and since Jana is bored and I had a packet of the things lying around, I thought I'd give her some to play with.
She's scared of them.

@anathema_device one of our kitties is not allowed to have toys like that because he might try to eat them.
@maccruiskeen @anathema_device yeah, same here. I could possibly play with one under direct supervision though. And if it popped, all the pieces get picked up and put in the trash.
@maccruiskeen I don't think Jana will, even if she decides to play with it. She doesn't really chew her toys
@anathema_device that’s good. Sam likes to chew things that are not food. Ever since the Shoelace Incident we’ve had to have some strict rules.

@BelfastRoadster it’s possible but she’s not really getting close enough to smell them before she backs away. Our other cat is reacting the same way
