Keety is thin skinned and she's blocked me before. What was bad was Wintercat chiming in, although they seem to have reasons too. I know that not all religionists are bad people, but if you're going around using symbols that people see as hateful, be it a cross or a swastika, you kind of have to assume the worst. But I like Keety and didn't mean to hurt her.

BREAKING: Starbucks to shut down *all* Ithaca locations as a part of its union busting efforts.
This means that over 30 people will lose their jobs, as a result of Starbucks' illegal anti-union efforts.
Ithaca was the first city that had 100% of its Starbucks stores unionized & now it will the first city to have all of its Starbucks stores shuttered.

I was a horse-crazy kid and used to ride my Stingray bike miles to the racetrack to watch the morning workouts. I absolutely loved watching the Triple Crown races well into my 30s and seeing Secretariat win was the highlight. But I hate how cruel horse racing has become and don't want to watch a horse break down in a race.

Yesterday the Washington Post published an article describing polling they conducted back in November as if it contained evidence for majority support for anti-trans legislation.
This morning I looked into the details and the WaPo piece is extremely misleading! More recent polling suggests the GOP agenda is very unpopular The best interpretations of the WaPo polling is that this was probably why the GOP thought this was a winning issue. No evidence it actually is tho!
