@ai6yr you won’t regret a little bit extra space. 17 1/2” + between the inside flange edge to flange edge- AKA the open space. The equipment always has elongated holes, and sometimes is not exactly 19”. And if you jam one you will wish you had the little extra. Don’t snug everything to each other. Leave 1-2U gaps open between pieces of gear. (ex IT) current ham and sound guy.

Distressing situation in Buffalo, mention of death
Hmm, thought I posted this earlier. Spot checked, and current status in Buffalo is a lot (lot) of DOA/victims being found in the last two hours, mixed with a (lot) of reports of looting of business (maybe just people desperate to survive, IMHO).
