I just keep going in a circle sometimes - I'm trying to follow accounts I had in my collection from the bird site. I tried loading the link from the "copy" icon, also tried just the account name, also tried @ account @ server format, and they all just send me back to the profile if they work at all, and when I click "follow," the loop starts over again.
Help me Obi Wan Mastodony! I need some help!
@ziggywiggy - that's what I was doing, and it would make sense, but that's what was sending me in a loop. But for some reason, opening a second mastodon tab per @RC 's post, and strangely enough, entering it in THAT search box worked.

Thanks for this tip, RC. I've run into that weird loop issue before too.
@SisterArtemis when I get this I open a second tab of Mastodon and do the @name from there and it works.
