It all does feel reminiscent of early Trump. And again thinking, how could this be happening. Not distress (as was often the case then) but more - wait, Musk and Jason and Sacks are now holed up in the building and they've barred the doors to the employees and everyone's quitting live on Twitter? Wait, what?

@joshtpm I'm not sure Twitter survives the month.

One of my favorite notes I saw was that Twitter typically has its highest traffic full stop during the World Cup - it's when the site needs all the backup servers to stay running.

Guess what starts this Sunday.

And the Tuesday Saudi/Argentina game is going to be a doozy.

I think everything is going to be "fine" and then it's just going to 404. The only real question is who Musk blames for it.

I suspect a combo of sabotage/ poor tech (was broken when I bought it) and "the left" that fears Musk turning it into a truth and free speech paradise.
