New Year’s Eve dinner tonight. Well, the main course. Red potatoes cooked in a cast iron skillet, served in the style of poutine with roasted garlic cheese curds and mushroom gravy.

Went for a late afternoon and was successful. Look at this big, lovely shelf! (and the other smaller ones too)
There were so many on one tree, and I couldn't possibly get to any of them. Of course they were too high up, so there's that.

Also ended up making this wee baked meringue because I had too much.

First attempt at lemon meringue pie. Not bad. A bit overdone on the top.

Went with my lovely partner to an Ethopian place near the unit we're staying in. A delightful melange of heavily spiced options, all served with soft, warm injera.

Tonight's dinner, as seen on Wonkette - garlic and citrus mojo pork.

Finally got a new state ID, several years after moving here.
Figured since I was going to change that, I might as well update it for who I am.

Wednesday of dregs of kimchi turned into a pancake, topped with the last bits of asparagus stir fried with black bean chili oil and topped with bonito, mayo and an egg.

Hope you folks out in the have a good Thursday. Here's my breakfast (no, not the whole thing).
MUshroom, spinach, bacon, ham, cheddar and pepper jack quiche.

Quick dinner since I've been madly cooking tonight.
(quiche, crab cakes, black bean chili oil)
Crab cake with stir fried asparagus in black bean chili oil.

Painting the things that I've printed. Slowly.
At this rate, probably 2 minis/night? And that's not even the larger prints.
Still, I'm pleased with the results so far.

Like the wrapper said, I've learned some things, and that's always good. Some are even unrelated to bed leveling. Or adhesion. Or offsets or....
